½. The habit of changing negative thoughts to positive.
This is a half habit because you don’t need the whole habit in order for it to be effective. It is the most difficult habit to maintain. This is the habit of changing your thoughts. Mastering your thoughts is a constant struggle, if you master them half the time, you’ll be doing twice a well! The thoughts you share with others can have a profound influence on them.

Secret Ingredients For Success – Part Two
Categories: Self Improvement | December 24th, 2008 | by admin | no comments
As we said, “secret ingredients are like channels” through which the universe manifests our intentions, like a garden hose which directs the flow of water wherever we wish it to go. The second secret ingredient is “passion” which is the channel of power the universe uses to “ignite” our intentions and bring them into our experience.
Most people think of this aspect of creating as the “desire” we feel when we want something to come into our life. It is also referred to as a “burning desire” but we call it “passion” because desire summons up a picture of self-oriented wanting, whereas passion suggests a desire that encompasses others if not the entire world.
The Importance Of Being A Physical Visible Member Of The Church Of Jesus Christ

My aim and goal in writing from Acts Chapter 9 in the New Testament is to seek to show, amongst other things, how vitally important friends are. Some friends are named and others remain unnamed, but each played his part.
This man who had been so very violent against disciples of Jesus Christ finally joins The Christian Fellowship. This is an important principle. From the very beginning Saul is committed to The Church of Jesus Christ. He was a physical visible member. Wherever he goes over the next 30 years, Paul (as he was later called) is committed to The Church, which is The Body of Christ. No matter what city or community he goes to, we see this vital principle. Now this is not widely taught.

Over these past 2,000 years it has been so interesting to observe and learn that no matter how certain persons have tried, nothing can stop the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In a number of articles, the truths and lessons which I have been writing about, have been based on the authority of the book of Acts. Bible Studies? Dry, dull and boring? Nonsense!
One of the strong messages arising throughout the Book of Acts is, nothing can stop the Gospel, and, no-one can prevent this Word from spreading.
Breakthrough The Barrier

A lot of people I’ve talked to have said they feel like there is a force field around them keeping them from succeeding. That has happened to me for years. But that was before I had an overhaul on my attitude. There are a lot of people in life that become seriously depressed because they couldn’t accomplish what they really thought they deserved. But eventually, they come to realize the depression was a symptom of being totally focused on ME.
Now I know it may not be about depression but I am afraid, a lot of times it is the next step in a series of emotional turmoils. The bottom line is the best way to overcome the spinning wheel syndrome is to start at home.

The brain is the most powerful computer on the planet. It has the capability to process data at incredible speeds. Almost everything in the body is controlled by the brain. This is such a powerful instrument that it has the capability to create things outside the body too.
People get what they continually focus upon. Unfortunately, the conditioned habit of most people is to think about the negative. When confronted with a situation, they will often devise the worst case scenario. Projections in the future are never in the positive. Naturally, the brain manifests exactly what it created-the worst possible scenario. Ever notice how extremely negative people’s lives are in total chaos? They have every type of hardship while never “catching a break”. The question is often asked, “Are they negative because their life is in turmoil or is their life in turmoil because of the negative thinking”? The latter seems to be more common.
How To Drive Shyness Away

A wallflower cannot succeed in this competitive world. One has to stand out in order to be heard. If you are timid and shy, you will not be noticed. You have to get your point across.
To overcome shyness, you have to give yourself more credit. In other words, you must have more self-esteem. Low self-esteem often result to being shy and afraid to speak up. If you know your worth, you will not have second thoughts speaking your mind.
If you are shy, think of the many opportunities you will miss. If you lack the courage to take the extra step, you will have difficulty in going after your aspirations and goal.
Self Limiting Beliefs – The Enemy Of Success

‘Children are remarkable for their intelligence and ardor, for their
curiosity, their intolerance of shams, the clarity and ruthlessness of their
vision.
Aldous Huxley
Have you ever asked a child what they want to be when they grow up? Recently I asked a group of children aged 5 – 9 years of age what they wanted to be when they grew up, and their answers included doctor, lawyer, pilot, nurse, teacher, builder and a Mother. The above quote confirms this. Children have vision and they dream and their dreams have no limits.
