How to Find Your Target Market For Your Home Business on Facebook

In a previous article, Home Based Business Success with Facebook Friends, I discussed how to find people you already know. Here I want to teach you how to find your target market on Facebook.

The way to search out people who are in your target market you first must know your target market. What do they like? What do they do? What are their hobbies? How old are they? What are you looking for Business builders or product users?

Once you determine your target market you can search groups on Facebook. For example you are searching for business builders and you are using the Mentoring For Free Pro System or something like it. Your target market in general terms would be people who need help building their business. To find other Network Marketers on Facebook is very simple and is a skill you need to have in your arsenal.

When at your home page on the bottom left you will see the icons. If you place your cursor over the icons you can see what they represent. You will want to click on GROUPS. Once at the groups page you can search for groups your target market would be members. For example if you are searching for others that enjoy MLM then type in M-L-M and hit enter and all groups with MLM in the title will appear.

Now you need to join some of these groups for starters two groups is plenty. You do not want to overwhelm yourself because you will with out a doubt receive messages from the group owners and there will be plenty of people to add as friends.

The next step is to add members of the group to your friends. In the middle of the page you will notice the members section. To the right of this section you will see the hyperlink “See All” you will want to place your cursor over this link and right click opening a box and choose open in a new tab or window. Now scroll through the list and add friends by clicking on the “Add Friends” link. NOTE: Do NOT add to many friends at once 15 per day is all you should add. Facebook frowns upon abusive practices and may consider adding to many friends as abusive.

When adding friends don't just click add and move on to the next send a short message explaining how and why you want to be friends.
