What is your
purpose in life? Have you ever thought of asking yourself that question? While
most of us waft through the days, our minds on work and rest, we do not stop
and ponder that quintessential question. Why am I here? What am I doing with my
life? Am I where I want to be? These are the questions anyone should be asking
themselves and I will tell you why. The fact is, most of the people you meet
are really either unhappy or indecisive in their lives. They are confused and
they have no idea where to go and what to do next. This person could be you and
it is quite easy to recognise these traits. For example, a person who goes to a
job they do not truly like, or is stuck in a relationship that makes them
unhappy. The philosophers of the modern world have said that there is a
sociological shift towards ?satisfaction’.

Satisfaction in
society is not one that is truly fulfilled, but one that is making do with what
they have. This is true of love, of work and of life in general. They seek not
to question but just to do. They seek not to discover, but to find and grab the
first thing that they see. They look around the world and find that happiness
is highly subjective, and they have translated their lives into one of
contentment. The constantly have to defend their lifestyles and rationalise why
they do not need to push themselves further or even to explore new frontiers of
work and love. What has happened is that this sort of thinking has endemically
affected the rest of society, and it has become a mindset and a mould that we
all seem to fit in. It is a disease that has now afflicted us all, from young
to old and if we do not do something about it, then it would be truly too late
for anyone of us.

The problem here
is the mind. What we see every day and the constant failures and
disappointments have penetrated our subconscious mind and left the negative
images that are driving us towards unhappiness. It is because of this that we
are content to live life only through the means that we can achieve , or within
reach – and not the means that we have the potential to get. We have to change
how we think and it is not enough to say it out loud and forget about it the
next day. We need to turn to technology that splits apart the conscious mind
and drives the messages of success and ambition right into the subconscious.
Only through that can we break out of the shell that has trapped us every day
of our lives. It is time to be all that we can be. It is time to change the
satisfactory into the irrelevant. It is time that the human race put on its
running shoes and run as hard as we can to achieve greatness unparalleled.
