Be honest.
Identify one thing that isn’t working.
Maybe it is the chaos of your desk and whenever you sit down you can’t
find anything.
Maybe it is a bad habit that keeps you from things you really want to do.

Pick one thing you’d like to change.

Choose something simple.
Write it down on a piece of paper.
This is not an attempt to overhaul your life all at once.

Then choose one thing that you are willing to do to change it.
This can be as simple as spending 5 minutes going through that mountain of
mail or 5 minutes filing.
It might be spending 5 minutes researching alternatives to that pesky habit.

Whatever it is, you will be doing it instead of thinking about it!
Once you identify the negative pattern that causes chaos, you can set
about changing it.

Now, if you have several things and are having trouble choosing, prioritize
most pressing to the most simple.
Then look at what you are willing to do to change it.
If it can be done right now and you are willing to do something about it,
that’s the one!
You’ll get the hang of it and start seeing results,
then use the same process again and again with everything on your list.

If there isn’t enough time to get it all done, you are doing too much.
That’s right…It’s not that you aren’t
doing enough, you are doing too much!

The goal is to simplify what you are doing to achieve your aspirations.

Sometimes choosing the easiest one will remedy the most pressing.
Just try it and see what happens.

If you focus on solving one problem at a time, then you will become a
problem solver.
And if you feel like results aren’t happening fast enough…Remember
things didn’t get this way overnight,
it doesn’t need to be fixed overnight.
